Welcome to Mobile ID. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Mobile ID mobile application ("App"), a two-factor authentication ("2FA") solution that provides enhanced security for your accounts across websites and apps. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

  1. Acceptance of Terms By accessing or using Mobile ID, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must discontinue using the App.
  2. Use of the App Mobile ID provides an additional layer of security for your online accounts through two-factor authentication. When using the App:
    • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your device and any login information.
    • You agree to use Mobile ID only for lawful purposes.
    • You agree not to use the App to engage in any illegal activities or to violate any terms associated with the websites or apps you connect to using Mobile ID.
  3. User Responsibilities
    • Security: You are solely responsible for the security of your accounts and ensuring that your Mobile ID app and device are secure from unauthorized access.
    • Accuracy: You agree that the information you provide is accurate and up to date. Mobile ID does not store your personal data but may use cryptographic algorithms to facilitate secure authentication.
  4. Prohibited Activities While using Mobile ID, you agree not to:
    • Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise tamper with the App.
    • Engage in activities that may harm the App or impair its functionality.
    • Use the App in ways that violate the rights of others, including privacy rights or intellectual property.
  5. Intellectual Property All intellectual property rights related to the App, including but not limited to the software, trademarks, logos, and content, are owned by Mobile ID or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App in accordance with these Terms.
  6. Third-Party Services Mobile ID may interact with third-party services (such as websites or apps) to facilitate 2FA. These third-party services are subject to their own terms and policies. Mobile ID is not responsible for the operation, content, or privacy practices of third-party services.
  7. Privacy We take your privacy seriously. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your information.
  8. Disclaimer of Warranties Mobile ID is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the App will be free from errors or interruptions. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
  9. Limitation of Liability In no event shall Mobile ID, its affiliates, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. This includes loss of data, security breaches, or any other damages resulting from unauthorized access to your account, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
  10. Termination We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Mobile ID at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.
  11. Modifications to Terms We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the App and will become effective upon posting. Your continued use of the App after the changes have been posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
